Melancholy

When the world was collapsing,
When the sun was not shining and dark shades were covering all,
When the sadness and unwanted news were spreading throughout,
I could not take any action but could only wait for a change.
Destruction was to lead to creation, but experience of it was hard to endure.
I knew there was always hope hidden behind it all.
I could only write down the melodies hanging in me during hard times.
No music could describe my feelings on those days.
But I had hope underneath that supported me to keep going.
